This is the debate between Mankind and Nature. The issue to be debated upon is does mankind have the right to exist in the bigger scheme of things of nature. Or the time is up to make way for some fundamental change. Something similar to the last one that occurred around sixty five million years back with the elimination of dinosaurs.
